WestConnex M4-M5 Link Tunnels

Details: WestConnex - Australia’s largest integrated transport and urban revitalisation project by Sydney Motorway Corporation on behalf of the NSW Government. The M4-M5 Link Tunnels is the first stage of the M4-M5 Link that includes the construction of the M4-M5 Link Tunnels between the M4 at Haberfield and the M8 at St Peters and stub tunnels to the Rozelle Interchange. The project consists of twin-mainline tunnels between the M4 East at Haberfield and the New M5 at St Peters, passing under Haberfield, Leichhardt, Camperdown, Newtown, and St Peters. Each tunnel is approximately 7.5 km long and sized to accommodate up to four lanes of traffic in each direction. This link will create a western bypass of the CBD easing congestion and provides crucial support for Sydney’s long-term economic and population growth.

M6 Stage 1 Motorway

Details: The M6 Stage 1 includes twin four kilometre tunnels linking the M8 Motorway at Arncliffe to President Avenue at Kogarah. Ramps between the main motorway tunnel and the surface intersection at President Avenue. Provision of new shared cyclist and pedestrian pathways, motorway support infrastructure including tunnel ventilation systems and the motorway control centre, new service utilities including a permanent power supply line, and minor adjustments to local roads in the project area.
Bruce Highway Upgrade - Deception Bay Road Interchange

Details: Providing 2 new parallel bridges over the Bruce Highway and removing the existing 2-lane bridge. Upgrading 2 signalised intersections on Deception Bay Road, 1 immediately west of the interchange at Old Gympie Road, and 1 immediately east of the interchange at Eastern Service Road. Increasing the length and capacity of existing on and off ramps. Providing active transport facilities for pedestrians and bike riders.
Bruce Highway Upgrade - Smart Motorways Project

Details: The Bruce Highway – Pine River to Caloundra Road Smart Motorways (Stage 2) project will deliver additional Smart Motorways technology along a 60km section of the Bruce Highway between the Pine River and Caloundra Road.
M1 Motorway - Coomera Connector - Stage 1 North

Details: By constructing additional crossings of the Coomera and Nerang rivers, Stage 1 of the Coomera Connector will reduce pressure on the M1 by providing an alternative route for the growing communities and commercial hubs of Helensvale and Coomera. The corridor is wide enough for an ultimate 6-lane motorway. The Stage 1 route will be built to 4 lanes to meet medium-term traffic needs. Stage 1 North includes new greenfields motorway from Shipper Drive to Helensvale Road.

M1 Motorway - Palm Beach to Tugun (Package C)

Details: The Pacific Motorway (M1) between Palm Beach and Tugun (Package C) is the third and final section of the M1 Pacific Motorway Varsity Lakes to Tugun (VL2T) upgrade. Package C involves the widening of a 5km section of the motorway, between Nineteenth Avenue Overpass and the Tugun interchange.

Logan Enhancement Project (LEP)

Details: The $512 million Logan Motorway Enhancement project included realignment and widening the motorway from four to six lanes, new service roads and braided ramps. The project included interchange upgrades at key congestion hot spots on the Logan Motorway and widening parts of the Gateway Extension Motorway.
